  • You have invested your own money, under your control, amounting to at least £2 million in qualifying UK investments, and this investment has been maintained.
  • You invested this sum within three months of the date you first entered the UK as a Tier 1 Investor, or the date your original visa application was approved.
  • There are no grounds on which the Home Office can reasonably believe that your £2 million funds were acquired by means of unlawful conduct.
  • You do not fall for refusal under the general grounds, which relate principally to any adverse immigration history and/or criminal record.
  • Your application is submitted before 17 February 2026.

Notably, Tier 1 Investor applications are not subject to any English language requirement until the application for permanent settlement in the UK.
